A Passion for Photography
I’m self-taught, which basically means I got here by being the gal who always had to have a camera in hand, capturing the kids, holidays, social gatherings, and everything in between! Somehow, over time I have turned that passion into a full-time job.
What I love most about photography is simple: freezing real moments so families can hold onto them forever. There’s something incredible about turning everyday laughter, big milestones, and quiet little moments into images that spark joy, bring back memories, and make people feel something every time they look at them.
I spend my fair share of time on the other side of the lens too, getting someone to capture my own family’s moments, so I know exactly how it feels to look at those images and be hit with all the emotions, the nostalgia, and the memory of that moment in time.
My sessions are all about gentle guidance, having fun, and letting your true self shine. No stiff poses or forced smiles here, only good vibes and great photos!

A few years ago, I lost my 7-year-old nephew. All we have left of him now are our memories… and the photos. Being the photo taker I was, I was so grateful to be able to share all the pictures I had of him with his family. Seeing how much they loved being able to remember and hold onto those moments made me feel like I’d truly given them a gift. While memories can fade, photos remain — unchanged, timeless, and full of the love we carry in our hearts.
That’s what I hope to give every family and person I photograph: a way to hold onto the moments they’ll want to remember forever.
Now, about me
Hi, I’m Amy.
Here’s me in a nutshell: I love time with my family and friends, the beautiful chaos of mum life, sunshine, summer swims, good food, good music, and having multiple wee trips away, booked and ready to look forward to, and of course coffee (always coffee). Those are the things that light me up and keep me grounded.
But I’ll be honest… I’m a total walking contradiction. I truly love and need time with all my people, hubby, kids, friends etc however I also need equal amounts of time with just me, myself and I. While I'm a summer and sunshine girly at heart, I burn so easily and hate to sweat, so shade, pools & aircon are also essentials for me. And yes, I do call myself a foodie… but I’m also one of the fussiest eaters you’ll ever meet.
At the end of the day, what really matters is that I love capturing real people and genuine moments. That’s what photography is for me: a way to freeze time, so you can look back and relive the love, the laughter, and the little things that mean the most.
